Greetings and hello from "the land down under"
I am Colin.
I spent 20 years as a shift worker and found it difficult to adapt to 'normal' hours of sleeping. I have that sorted now.

Why 'The Land Down Under'?
The term originally referred solely to Australia and gradually expanded in scope. It comes from the fact that Australia is in the Southern Hemisphere, “below” almost all other countries on the usual arrangement of a map or globe which places cardinal north at the top.

I love to cook and have designed some postcards with some of my favorite 'Aussie' recipes on the back.

Classical music is so special to me, and I often listen to ABC Classic, German and Austrian radio on the net.

I have been a stamp collector since I was 10 years young but am not a serious collector now.
I collect first day covers, postcards, stickers and bookmarks. I have kept some of my favorite fdc's and stamps so these will be part of my surprise envelope.


Any surprise is nice but when members do not put an effort into it, it shows. I never have specific needs, just send me something interesting, after you read my profile.
