Greetings from India !
This is Sanjay from the great land of Gorgeous Gandhi, Ambitious Ambani, Solid Sardar and Marvelous Modi. The land of Gujarat, India.
I'm a spiritual soldier having served the great Indian Army for almost six years. Nowdays I'm proud member of World's largest Postal Parivar- India Post.
I'm a passionate poet. Specifically I love Haiku the most. Haiku is one of the shortest form of poetry originated in Japanese literature. It consists total seventeen syllables parting them in shape of five, seven and five syllables in three different lines. It's a pocket-sized powerhouse as it conveys deepest message with it's shortest length. That's why poetry lovers from across the world have widely accepted this form of poetry. In Gujarat Jhinabhai Ratanji Desai "Snehrashmi" ventured this Japanese Haiku in Gujarati. I do also write Haiku. I would like to share one here :
થાય બંધ બે
ઇંચની, ખૂલે આંખે
સ્ક્રિન વિશાળ.
As it's written in my mother tongue - Gujarati, I would like to explain it for your better understanding : "The moment mobile screen turns off, the real large screen appears before the eyes."
I love roaming in the lap of nature, specially mountains and forests. My City - Junagadh is blessed with both i.e. Girnar - The Mountain Range and Gir Forest. Apart from it's historical importance, Girnar features Asia's largest Rope way project. Gir Forest is the home to Asiatic Lions.
I prefer to receive hand made cards, however would welcome printed as well, but the message portion must be hand written rather than printed. I would like to see your handwriting. Honestly, I love reading all letters again and again. I really feel the words and the way you write. Write not only what you feel but also what you want to feel. Even in address portion, I would love to see my name and address hand written rather than a label printed and glued onto it.
Cards pertaining to #Mountains #Wildlife #Forests #Poetry #Defence hashtags will find place in my favourites, however I will cherish all I receive from you all Postcrossers. I will be more delighted if you prefer sending card on my Birthday - on Christmas. Yeah, the almighty have chosen Christmas Day to gift me to my parents. Let me request you to please mention the place and actual date of posting on the card. My fondest wish is to receive at least one postcard from every single country in the world.
I would like to conclude here with one more Haiku of mine.
લખો ટપાલ
અંતરથી એટલું
ઘટે અંતર.
"The moment, a letter is written from the heart, shortens the distance of two hearts." Yeah, only one lively heart, only one smiling face is enough to rejuvenate the world. Like phoenix bird it will re-emerge.
It's So Simple,
Even One Is Ample.
It Spreads To Many,
If There Is Any.
Send Me One,
Send Me One,
If You Have Any.
Let's shorten the distance of hearts. Let's bring smile on someone's face. Let's write a letter.
