“Life's as kind as you let it be.”
― Charles Bukowski, Hot Water Music

Surprises you can send me:

- Paper ephemera - the older, the better. Book pages, newspaper pages, magazine pages, ledger sheets, flyers, tickets, candy wrappers, food packaging, fortune cookie fortunes, that sort of stuff.
- Your artwork!
- Your poems or stories!
- Postcards - blank or used (please no tourist cards unless it's from your home town)
- Stickers (not too girly please)
- Writing paper/stationery and envelopes.
- Rubber stamps.
- Fountain pen ink samples
- Anything you think I might like based on what you can read about me below.

Please save these for someone else:
- Tea bags
- Magnets
- Washi tape (I have too much!)
- Postage stamps (ditto!)

About me:

I was raised by a family of wolves who roamed the east coast of the United States and moved home every 2 or 3 years. My family (okay they weren't wolves) were big music lovers and I grew up listening to soul, doowop, rock, blues and jazz on vinyl. It was no surprise that I ended up with a job in the music industry.

When not working, I collect books (I especially like books about food, design, and art), vinyl records, fabric, thread, stationery, pens and ink. I like to make things with my hands (usually quilts), cook, read, watch films and spend time with friends and family. I have one husband and one dog.

I was born in Virginia, but spent most of my life living in London. Currently I am in New Jersey and I have also lived in Florida, Georgia, Staten Island, upstate New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia and San Francisco. My accent tends to depend on who I am talking to.

I do not offend easily. The only things which will offend me are cruelty or oppression. Please feel free to send me the weird, risqué, bizarre stuff that you aren’t too sure about.
